The Buchans Extended Grip Turbo Oil Feed Banjo Bolt Kit is designed for the Ford Focus ST225 Mk2 where the original turbo oil feed banjo bolt thread in the engine block has become worn, damaged or partially stripped.
The extended bolt reaches deeper into the turbo oil feed gallery than the original Ford banjo bolt, allowing it to engage serviceable threads beyond the damaged section, where sufficient thread remains available.
This provides a practical solution where the original banjo bolt no longer achieves sufficient thread engagement, and is also suitable for turbocharger replacements, engine rebuilds and preventative maintenance.

Please Note
This bolt is longer than the original Ford banjo bolt and is designed to engage serviceable threads deeper within the turbo oil feed gallery.
On some engines, a factory oil feed filter may be present within the oil feed port. Due to the increased length of this bolt, removal of this filter may be required before installation.
This product is not a thread repair insert and is not suitable where the oil feed port threads are completely stripped. Successful installation requires sufficient serviceable thread to remain deeper within the engine block.
If the remaining threads are damaged or their condition is uncertain, they should be inspected before installation.
