Overview

The Powerflex Lower Engine Mount Insert for Ford Mondeo Mk4 reduces excessive engine and transmission movement under acceleration and gear changes.

Black Series products are intended for track and motorsport use and may increase noise, vibration and harshness.

PFF88-1130BLK Lower Engine Mount Insert is made using our Black 95A durometer material and designed to fill the voiding of the original lower engine mount. By doing so, it stiffens the rubber mount reducing engine/trans movement during acceleration and smooths out gearshifts for an improved driving experience. Fits Volvo S60, V70, S80, XC60, XC70 with B6* 3.0/3.2 6Cyl engines, Ford Mondeo MK4 ST, S-Max ST with the 2.5 Duratec engine, Land Rover Discovery Sport 1 and Freelander 2 with 2.0L Turbo Petrol engines and Range Rover Evoque L538 2.0L Turbo Petrol models and 2.2L Diesel manual models. Increased NVH will be experienced by fitting this part.

Installation Guidance

  • Remove the original component and thoroughly clean the mounting bore and surrounding surfaces.
  • Remove corrosion and sharp edges that could damage the polyurethane during installation.
  • Apply the supplied Powerflex assembly grease to the specified contact surfaces.
  • Tighten all vehicle hardware to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
